The man who was killed when his truck overturned into an irrigation canal Friday morning has been identified by authorities. The Stanislaus County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as Dylan Linhares, 31, of Turlock. Linhares was a husband and a father of three young children and worked at the Farmers Livestock Market in Oakdale. Linhares was driving a 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck on Harding Avenue, west of Moffett Road on the outskirts of Turlock. Harding is a narrow, old road running parallel to the irrigation canal.
